Bullying Script + Story Board Saleh Al Rashdi H00304391

Bullying Script

Bullying is a serious problem in homes, schools and communities. Often dismissed as an adolescent ,research clearly indicates bullying is learned behavior and harmful to the academic, physical, social and emotional development of all involved bullies and targets who witness it. Bullying is not only a problem of youth but is one that spreads in all ages. Bullying has been a significant issue in schools for decades. Looking back to the 18th century peer-on-peer disturbance was just as commonly seen as it is today. Of course, during that time bullying was newly recognized and little understood. What may be seen as violent behavior today might not have been in that time. Several events and studies have taken place that have made a significant impact on bullying and have expanded its meaning in many ways. Have you ever been personally targeted by another individual? Maybe not having your head forced into a toilet, but verbally hurt? The issue of bullying can be quite serious when it comes to this day in age. The effects bullying can have on its victims is something that may last throughout their lives, or something that may end their life. First of all , What is bullying? It means that when someone is being hurt either by words or actions, feels bad because of it , and has hard time stopping for what is happening to them. Now where does bullying happen? Bullying can happen anywhere. It can occur in your neighborhood , either while going to school , at school doing sport activities and while online. Obviously, there are four common types of bullying that I am going to mention it including their meanings and some example. Verbal Bullying it  involves ongoing name-calling, threatening, and making disrespectful comments about someone's attributes (appearance, religion, ethnicity, disability and sexual orientation. Physical bullying, or bullying with aggressive physical intimidation, involves repeated hitting, kicking, tripping, blocking, pushing, and touching in unwanted and inappropriate ways. Relational bullying involves on purpose preventing someone from joining or being part of a group, whether it's at a lunch table, game, sport, or social activity. Cyberbullying, or bullying in cyberspace, involves arguing someone by spreading mean words, lies, and false rumors through e-mails, text messages, and social media posts. Possible warning signs that a student is being bullied comes home with unexplained bruises or missing pieces of clothing and lost interest in school with poor grades. What are the effects? Students appears to be anxious and suffers from low self-esteem & facing  trouble with sleeping appears to be depressed , sad , and alone. Let me tell you my real story about bullying when I was in 8th grade I used to study at Al worood academy school which is in Abu Dhabi .Surprisingly, a couple of students stole a huge money from the treasury room and stab the security guard since it was too late for the security guard  until he died and it is all because of money. So, the ministry of school council closed the school for a year until they reopen it till next year.  To conclude the statement we are going talk about the causes and solutions. So, What are the causes of Bullying? Some people bully to get power, they think if you push people around and make them do what you want them to do you will get noticed. They think that gets their name out there that makes them feel cool they get attention they become popular.but some bullies do it just because they like to hurt people see the victim cry and if the victim has to the nerve not to respond the bully that has no pity. Most people think if you are popular you can get away with things that they know isn't right. What are the best solutions of Bullying? If you are being bullied tell them to stop, get away from the situation, and tell a trusted adult. If you see someone being bullied, be an up stander: Tell the person to stop, get a trusted adult reach out and be friends. With your children: Listen and support your children. Work with the school to be sure your child is safe. In Your School: Learn and help train all adults and youth on how to recognize and respond to bullying.
